How Credits Work
Use at your own pace
Credits don't reset monthly — they stay in your account until used or until they expire 6 months after purchase.
Subscribers pay less
Active subscribers pay less per credit pack and get a monthly quota on top. Credits only kick in after your monthly allowance runs out.
Works with every model
Credits work the same way as plan quota. A 1× model costs 1 credit per token; a 10× model costs 10 credits per token.
Community results: subscribers only
When someone already analysed an article, subscribers get it free. Without a subscription, every analysis is charged — even cached ones.
Credit Packs FAQ
How many credits does an analysis use?
A single analysis uses around 2,500 credits with a 1× basic model on a typical article (~500 words). Higher-multiplier models cost proportionally more — a 3× model uses ~7,500 credits and a 10× frontier model uses ~25,000 credits for the same analysis. See the model tiers page for multipliers.
Do credit packs expire?
Credits expire 6 months from the date of purchase. They are consumed only when your monthly plan quota is exhausted.
Can I use credit packs without a subscription?
Yes — but you'll pay a higher price per pack and won't get free community results. For most users, even a Lite subscription ($7/mo) works out cheaper once you factor in the lower pack prices and the free cached analyses.
What is your refund policy?
All purchases — subscriptions and credit packs — are final and non-refundable.
